BAG Virtual Get Together: DIT Export Support Services- 4 May 2022 *Register Now!*

Today at 14:00, the British Aviation Group will be holding a Virtual Get Together facilitated by Graham Bolton Vice Chair of BAG and Shakir Khaja, BAG Board Member and Lead of the BAG Business Intelligence Working Group.

We will be joined by Nowell Toma, Airport Sector Manager at the Department for International Trade who will give an overview of the DIT Airport Sector Support as well as by Richard Porter, Head of Customer Experience and Engagement at the Department for International Trade, to learn how the Export Support Service can support members to trade overseas. You will also hear how the Service plans to expand to cover more global markets this year, and what this means for your business.

The Export Support Service is a free government helpline and online service run by the Department for International Trade (DIT). It is the first point of contact for all UK businesses to get answers to questions about exporting their products or services to customers in Europe. No matter the size of your business, how much you export or where in the UK you’re based, you can use the service to get answers to your questions. The Export Support Service is also the single point of contact for businesses and traders with questions about exporting to Ukraine, Russia or Belarus.

If you would like to participate in this session, please register here to receive dial in details. If you have any questions please contact Hannah Sallabanks.

This workshop is a great opportunity for members to remind and familiarise themselves with all of BAG’s activities and offering to ensure you maximize your membership and receive the most benefit throughout the year. It will also give you an opportunity to ask questions and provide BAG with any feedback.

BAG Virtual Get Together: Inclusive Design: Case Study on Systematic Inclusion from Heathrow Airport – Open to All- 19 May 2022 Re-scheduled Webinar  *Register Now!*

On 19 May 2022, the British Aviation Group will be joined by Jenny McLaughlin, Project Manager – Infrastructure at Heathrow Airport who will be looking at Inclusive Design: Case Study on Systematic Inclusion from Heathrow Airport – Open to All.

Design has a purpose and intent, it can either include or exclude. When we design our infrastructure, technology and process if we don’t have a wide lens that embraces human diversity, we create barriers. These barriers at best require and undignified work around, at worst can actually lead to harm. Heathrow is on a mission to become the most accessible airport for passengers, colleagues and our supply chain. Hear about the steps we’ve taken to be more systematically inclusive and where we think there should be collaboration across industry to drive the agenda further.

The session will be hosted by Jason Fowler Chair of BAG and is open to all members. If you would like to participate in this session, please register
here to receive dial in details. If you have any questions please contact Hannah Sallabanks.
*Hurry- last sponsorship packages left for the BAG Stand at Passenger Terminal  Expo PTE 2022*
15 – 17 June 2022
Paris Expo Porte De Versailles I Paris, France

The British Aviation Group is pleased to announce the return of the increasingly popular BAG stand sponsorship packages at Passenger Terminal Expo, taking place in Paris in 2022. Over the years the BAG stand at PTE has grown considerably, becoming one of the main networking hubs for the aviation industry to meet and do business. This is due to our BAG member companies sponsoring the stand and drawing in the interest and key players in the industry.

The BAG Sponsorship stand package is one of the most affordable and effective ways to exhibit at this world class show.  The location for 2022 means companies will benefit from a very visible presence at the show due to our stand location.  The package is sold to the BAG members only, which will ensure our members receive the most exclusive service.
