Enertechnos is a UK-based tech company that specialises in designing electrical systems that increase efficiency of transmission of electrical energy. The core invention is a cabling system called 'Capacitive Transfer System' (CTS). CTS is characterised by lower losses, greater power carrying capacity, carrying power over greater distances and the possibility to use up to 20% less copper when compared to conventional cable. CTS cable is designed for grids and microgrids. It is especially suitable for the provision of Fixed Electrical Ground Power (FEGP) at airports. Another application is the use of a high frequency device for the wireless charging of electric vehicles.
