Uttar Pradesh Police are investigating after construction equipment worth Rs. 35 lakh was stolen from Lucknow Airport.
Parts of a 400 MT crane, including a remote cable and hose pipe, went missing following the theft at the under-construction Terminal 3 of Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport on Thursday.
The incident occurred on January 25 but airport officials were only alerted to it a day later, according to an FIR filed by Shambhu Nath Mishra, the project manager for NCC Company Limited, which is contracted for construction, at Sarojini Nagar police station.
