The SSP Group has secured a seven-year contract worth circa £40m to open a new international food hall at Brisbane Airport.
The company describes the food collective as the first of its kind in an Australian airport, drawing inspiration from local outdoor hawker street dining and farmers markets. The concept will feature a large centralised seating area with on-site self-order kiosks allowing passengers to order food across five restaurants.
