New Civil Engineer - Rob Hakimian

Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) has awarded a contract to a JV between Sisk and Lagan to undertake its €325M (£269M) Dublin Airport Airside and Landside civil engineering framework.

Lot 1 of the framework is part of DAA’s Capital Investment Programme for Dublin Airport, which includes infrastructure work being overseen by Bechtel and aims to deliver growth in the medium term in line with the country’s governmental policy. Work is already underway on the new north runway and there is a requirement for significant ongoing works across the campus.

The work to be carried out by Sisk/Lagan JV in the framework includes a number of civil engineering and infrastructure projects to upgrade the pavement, drainage and electrical systems. This will take place all over the airport, including on the boarding gate piers, aircraft stands, terminals, aprons, taxiways and the general airfield campus.
