Glasgow Prestwick Airport has reported an operating profit of £2.1m - the fourth consecutive year in the black.
Its 2022/23 accounts stated that the last 12 months has been challenging economically, with the impact of Brexit on the UK labour supply and a fall in anticipated cargo volumes.
However, the airport was able to adapt and recruit, with passenger numbers up substantially on the previous year.
Chief executive Ian Forgie said: “We are also pleased to confirm a new five-year agreement with Ryanair and we look forward to working with them to grow passenger services.
