The Office for National Statistics has produced an analysis of the impact on different sectors of the UK economy. Their analysis highlights the challenging position for aviation and travel businesses, as the aviation sector is operating at just 6.4% in GDP terms of what it was in February 2020, and tour operators and travel agents are down 88.7% in the same period.
