Ocean 3D, previous winners of New Civil Engineers Future of Airports competition, are one of the nine technology firms with concepts designed to make rail stations safer, easier to navigate and more social for passengers. The nine have been selected to develop proposals to trial their innovations at Bristol Temple Meads station.
Ocean 3D offers two distinct passenger experience enhancement solutions:
- A first-to-market interactive virtual tours of any location, that users can access on any 4G/Wi-Fi connected smartphone, tablet or desktop. Rail example / Aviation example
- An augmented reality app with Lowen, the friendly guide-bot', that helps users locate and navigate to wherever they want to visit or learn more about.
Ocean 3Ds' virtual tours are already in use with a wide range of clients and sectors and Lowen, the AR guide-bot, has recently been certified for use within NHS Digital by ORCHA.
