According to Lithuanian public broadcaster LRT, flights at Vilnius Airport will be temporarily suspended during the NATO summit, which will take place this July. The country's Ministry of Transport and Communications issued the following statement in advance of the high-level gathering:

“On July 11-12, during the NATO summit in Lithuania, in line with NATO security requirements, all flights will be banned within a 30-kilometre radius of the Litexpo Exhibition Centre. Flights in Vilnius will be restricted for just over a day, from noon on July 11 to 14:00 on July 12,”

The firm in charge of managing Vilnius Airport's operations, Lithuanian Airports, notes that over 100 flights from Vilnius will be canceled due to the restrictions.
