Following LSTR’s successful duty free win at Nice Airport, Portland is delighted to have also assisted the retailer in winning two additional tenders at the airport.

For these tenders, the consultancy worked with LSTR to develop design concepts for affordable and luxury fashion offers in both Terminals 1 and Terminal 2.

Keeley Lascelles, Associate Designer at Portland comments: “we delivered The Fashion Place, an affordable fashion multi-branded retail concept which focuses on edgier and more urban brands. We also created a new retail brand for the airport, ‘Riviera Chic’, a multi-branded concept which focuses on the Cote’d’Azur summer sun and fashion style, giving passengers one last chance to indulge themselves before they take their plane home”.

Both retail concepts will boast an event space at the entrance of the store to animate the offer and customer experience through a series of thematic events which relate to the local events, “it” brands, all helping to bring the concepts to life…..literally.

This is all part of the airport’s major renovation program of both terminals (T1 and T2), which when completed in May 2017, will deliver a transformed, state of the art commercial offer and an airport environment that properly reflects and evokes the feel and spirit of the Cote d’Azur
