Competition will fund critical research into electric and hydrogen aircraft to support aviation reach net zero by 2050.

The Government announced on 30 June 2021 that the Jet Zero Council has kept up momentum as it launches first round of £3 million Zero Emission Flight Infrastructure (ZEFI) competition, supporting development of infrastructure required to aid electric and hydrogen aircraft such as charge points for planes.
