UK Parliament

The Aviation Minister Robert Courts MP made a statement on 11 January 2021 regarding Pre-Departure Testing, confirming the date of implementation as 15th January 2021. He also confirmed the sensitivity/specificity standard for the tests and other details, and committed to providing further guidance for passengers and operators, including the paperwork that will be required to enter the UK. Transport operators will be required to check that a passenger has proof of a negative test result before they board their flight. Fines for failing to do this will be issued to both passengers and transport operators. Exemptions for aircrew apply. The full statement can be found here
