Oklahoma City's Will Rogers World Airport is looking to build an immigration and customs facility to allow for international flights.

Oklahoma's busiest airport is looking to expand its facilities to accommodate international flights. Following a significant terminal expansion, the airport is looking to build the immigration area required to allow direct flights from outside the United States.

The Oklahoma City Airport Trust, which runs the city's three airports, released bid documents yesterday for the construction of a Federal Inspection Station at the airport. The international gate will be staffed by Customs and Border Patrol officers to allow incoming passengers to be cleared for entry into the United States.
