US House Committee on Rules
The U.S. House of Representatives approved a "mini-bus" package of FY 2022 spending bills today, including U.S. DOT and FAA appropriations. The bill provides $3.35 billion in AIP plus an additional $400 million in supplemental airport grants. The Senate will likely not act on any FY 2022 appropriations bills until after the summer recess. Action on the Department of Homeland Security spending bill will also likely happen in the fall.
