The U.S. House of Representatives approved a package of FY 2023 appropriations bills Wednesday, which included the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). The bill funds AIP at $3.35 billion, with an additional $273 million in supplemental funding. Of the supplemental amount, some $173 million is set aside for Community Project Funding, or congressional earmarks. Action by the U.S. Senate on its FY 2023 spending bill is still pending.
