The 3-year contract will see Atkins provide multidisciplinary services as the Programme Designer for Heathrow's £500m+ Asset Replacement and Management Programme. We are developing design solutions comprising 100 projects to replace ageing assets to improve resilience, passenger experience and reduce operational costs. These include projects to rehabilitate life expired mechanical and electrical plant and equipment, increase airfield capacity through delivery of new stands and taxiways, designing improvements to the drainage networks as well working to reduce Heathrow's energy and consumption.
