Customers travelling from Dublin airport to the US can now use a new app to submit required information, rather than completing a paper form.
The Mobile Passport Control (MPC) app is available to download from the Apple App and Google Play stores, and allows passengers to submit their travel document, photo, and customs declaration information ahead of presenting themselves at the airport’s pre-clearance facility.
There are currently just 15 preclearance locations in six countries worldwide, including Dublin and Shannon airports, with Billy Bishop Toronto City airport set to join the list in 2025.
