The daa has announced a 20-point plan to promote environmental sustainability at Dublin and Cork Airports in the hope of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
The operator, which is responsible for both airports, has a planned investment for Dublin Airport worth €400 million which is part of its Infrastructure Application to Fingal County Council to make its operations amongst the most environmentally friendly airports in Europe.
Daa announced its sustainability initiatives at a launch on Wednesday in Dublin and unveiled a roadmap detailing how it is going to reduce emissions at Dublin and Cork Airports up to the 2050 deadline.
