On Wednesday 10 November 2021, the UK Government launched the International Aviation Climate Ambition Coalition. Through this, several countries have committed to working together on an ambitious global emissions target for international aviation through ICAO. They also commit to supporting specific measures to reduce aviation emissions, including sustainable aviation fuels, the CORSIA global offsetting scheme and new aircraft technologies.
