BAG Virtual Get Together Member Engagement Workshop and Chair Update- 18 November 2021

Further to the BAG Members Day in October, where members had the opportunity to provide thoughts and inputs and be part of the process in feeding into the 2022 BAG Strategic Plan, the BAG Board has now held its BAG Board Strategy Workshop in early November 2021 to discuss BAG’s Strategic Priorities for 2022 which will be finalised at the December BAG Board meeting.
In the upcoming Virtual Get Together, the BAG Chair Jason Fowler would like to highlight the progress made so far and provide an overview on what opportunities members have to actively get involved and how to best engage in BAG’s various activities and groups moving forwards.

DIT: India Aviation Series : Meet & Engage with Adani Airports- 16 November 2021

UK government’s Department for International Trade (DIT) and British Aviation Group (BAG) are organising an interactive session in the month of November to introduce Adani Airports, a leading Indian airport sector player to UK Airport supply chain companies. 
 
The virtual session will help you to learn more about the Adani Group, their experience and develop an insight into their procurement systems & requirements. It will give you an opportunity to directly engage with the leadership team of the Group focussed on the airport business.

BAG Member Request: Heathrow Net Zero Market Sounding Opportunity: are you interested in becoming Heathrow’s Carbon Partner?

Heathrow are delighted to have released a Market Sounding Questionnaire to aid them in finding a Carbon Partner. This goes hand in hand with Heathrow’s journey to Net Zero and will help them realise their ambition to be a Zero Carbon airport by 2050.
 
Through the responses to the questionnaire, Heathrow will build an initial picture of:
 
•            how organisations are gearing up to deliver carbon reduction solutions to large organisations to help them deliver net zero
•            what capabilities currently exist in the market
•            how those capabilities will evolve in future
•            where those capabilities align with their net zero requirements
•            how the best market innovation is accessed
•            the appetite to become Heathrow’s Carbon Partner
 
We also want to understand the commercial models which are commonplace or preferred, and the opportunities and risks that may arise from a market led approach in delivering net zero solutions.
