DFW will build a new terminal with 15 gates, completely expand and renovate Terminal c, and expand terminal a for a total of 39 new gates.

American Airlines has signed a new use and lease agreement with Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) that will last for 10 years and includes a $4.8 billion capital investment.

This agreement ensures that DFW will continue to be American Airlines’ main hub for the next decade, following a previous 10-year agreement signed in 2010.

In 2019, American Airlines and DFW announced a $3.5 billion capital investment to build a new terminal, but the COVID-19 pandemic caused that plan to be delayed.
