A vulnerable woman, due to fly to Portugal from Glasgow, ended up wrongly boarding a flight to Bristol.

An airline has apologised and a probe has been launched after a vulnerable passenger boarded the wrong flight at Glasgow Airport.

The woman was due to fly to Faro, in Portugal, from Glasgow on Wednesday.

EasyJet apologised for the incident and confirmed an investigation is ongoing with Glasgow Airport, the ground handler, and the passenger’s special assistance provider.
