The Taliban has reportedly signed a deal that will see some of Afghanistan's largest airports become partially managed by a foreign entity. Specifically, a company from the United Arab Emirates will be in charge of logistics at the airports in Herat, Kabul, and Kandahar. Afghanistan hopes that this will encourage investment in the country.
