The Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) has released two new requests for proposals. ACRP 02-103: A Guide for Methods to Transition and Decontaminate PFAS from Firefighting Systems looks to develop a guide for U.S. airport sponsors and stakeholders that have the responsibility of transitioning from using AFFF to F3, including decontaminating PFAS from firefighting vehicles and equipment, and hangar fire-suppression systems. ACRP 03-72: A Guide on the Economic Impacts of E-Commerce on Airports and Airport Stakeholders looks to develop a guide and research report about the supply chain relationships between airports and airport stakeholders.
