Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) will be renamed Zayed International Airport in February 2024,
This will happen on the same day the airport opens its brand-new Terminal A facility.
The new name honors the founder of the UAE, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and was decided by the current president, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
