Boosted by a strong Christmas peak season that saw it welcome more than 200,000 passengers a day for eight days, Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) handled 61 million passenger in 2025.

The full year traffic volume of 61 million passenger trips represented a double-digit growth of 15%, while air traffic movements rose by 8.7% compared to the previous year, and cargo volumes saw a 2.7% growth to 5.07 million tonnes.
