Austin-Bergstrom - Airport Expansion & Development Program United States Austin-Bergstrom Ongoing: Request for Qualifications (RFQS):  Selection of up to six firms for the 2024 AUS Architectural & Engineering Services Rotation List.
Madrid–Barajas Megaproject Spain Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas / Madrid–Barajas Construction due to commence in 2026 - Madrid's Barajas Airport will expand its passenger terminals at a cost of EUR 2.4 billion.
The megaproject involves enlargement of Terminal 4 and its satellite Terminal 4S (opened in 2006) and unification of the older terminals 1, 2, and 3, creating a centralized facility for check-in, security and passport control, as well as arrivals and baggage collection.
No new terminals are planned; instead the project will focus on refurbishing and expanding the existing facilities
New Lisbon Airport Project Portugal New Lisbon Alcochete has emerged as the most advantageous location for the new Lisbon airport, according to a report from the Independent Technical Commission (CTI). 
New Vlorë Airport Project Albania New Vlorë Ongoing: Opening has been pushed back to March 2025, with infrastructure works slated to be completed by Dec 2024
Oscar Laranjeira Airport Expansion Brazil Oscar Laranjeira The Brazilian government will invest 140mn reais (US$30mn) to expand and upgrade the Oscar Laranjeira airport in Caruaru, in Pernambuco state.
