Australia’s newest airport is set to scrap one of the most frustrating parts of catching a flight.
The airport [WSI], which is located about 44 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD, won’t have airline specific check-in counters.
Instead, it’ll have 40 check-in computers and 34 bag drops for all passengers to use, regardless of airline.
If you’re the kind of traveller who likes the reassurance of seeing your airline’s name everywhere, don’t stress — uniformed staff will be stationed throughout the check-in area if you need help, with digital signs guiding passengers through the terminal and onto their flight...
