Wellington Airport terminal update – southwest pier open today

Wellington Airport’s southwest pier has re-opened today (Tuesday 7 July) following a fire incident on 12 June. 

Wellington Airport chief executive Matt Clarke says the northern pier has been handling all jet flights for the last few weeks.

The southwest pier is largely used for domestic Air New Zealand jet flights. 

Gate 17 will remain temporarily closed for further repair work...
