Port of Seattle

If you haven’t been to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) for awhile, be prepared to see things you haven’t seen before. Construction is noticeable with 120 projects underway as part of Upgrade SEA, which is investing $5 billion over the next five years to create exciting opportunities now and into the future.
SEA Airport may look different, but staff are working diligently to continue the customer service we are known for, to make your travel experience the best it can be this summer. A couple of key points for travelers:
- TSA Security Checkpoint 3 is temporarily closed for reconfiguration. This project will add two more lanes to the checkpoint, which reopens in early June, ahead of the summer season.
- The reconfiguration of TSA Security Checkpoint 2 was recently completed, adding two lanes.
- Overall, the four new lanes will add an additional 600 passengers per hour to overall throughput, helping SEA to meet peak periods of departing passengers this summer....
Take a look at some of our recently completed projects:
- Fifteen new dining and retail spaces have opened in the last 18 months – with more to come this year.
- Five renovated or new restrooms (including an all-gender facility) opened, with three more still to come this year.
- SEA has launched a new Reserved Parking Program.
- The new Automated Parking Guidance System and Curbside Accessibility and Safety upgrades have been completed.
- Three other completed recently capital projects are the Central Terminal Renovation, N Concourse Modernization, and International Arrivals Facility.
- The SEA Customer Care team is here to help! With new signage and screens in the terminal, travelers can chat, call, or video call in over 60 languages by scanning a QR code or with a touch of a screen.
