In a major step towards future growth, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) has completed its Master Plan Update, marking a significant milestone in the airport’s development. The final documentation for the plan, which includes chapters, appendices, executive summaries, and a land use plan, is now available for public review. This plan lays out a detailed and forward-looking framework for the airport’s long-term development, operational strategy, and infrastructure improvements.
One of the key focuses of the plan is expanding the airport’s capacity to handle an increasing number of passengers and cargo. With the growing demand for air travel and logistics, the airport aims to enhance gate capacity, improve runway systems, and optimize airport terminals.
