Budget friendly airline Ryanair has said it will add more than 500 flights with a total of 100,000 seats to and from its main base at London Stansted for the half-term break. The increase comes after Heathrow extended its flight cap a further six weeks to October 29, due to staff shortages.

This year has seen several flight cancelations and delays with airports across the country dealing with unhappy passengers and queues that went on for miles. Ryanair's chief executive has commented on the airlines addition of 500 flights this October, taking a swipe at 'hopeless Heathrow' as they continue to cut flights and raise their fares for travelers, reports Hull Live.
