Forty-three years of take offs and landings at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and there has never been a busier month than March 2026 for passenger traffic at the Fort Myers airport.
The Lee County Port Authority announced the historic news on Wednesday (April 22), reporting that 1,521,149 passengers traveled to and from SW Florida in March, which is traditionally the busiest month of the year at the airport.
This was an increase of 3.9% compared to March 2025, which recorded 1,463,628 passengers. The previous all-time high −1,514,046 − occurred in March 2022...
