Once expansion works are complete, the airport will be able to handle 25m passengers per annum
Expansion works at Sharjah Airport’s passenger terminal and central facilities station are progressing on schedule, and are due to be completed by mid-2027, according to the Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA).
The project covers 18 packages of various expansion initiatives, and is said to be part of a broader expansion plan valued at US $653mn.
