Mărculești International Airport has the potential to develop both cargo and passenger routes, as well as aircraft repair and maintenance activities. This was confirmed by the new Director-General of the Public Property Agency, Ion Dodon, during a working visit to the state-owned enterprise.
“State-owned properties must be utilised efficiently. Mărculești offers real potential for cargo and passenger routes, as well as for aircraft repair and maintenance workshops. Importantly, the airport infrastructure has been well maintained, despite financial and economic difficulties,” said the Director-General of the PPA.
