Avian Safe, a member of the SafeSkys Group, carried out a Wildlife and Habitat Management training course at Beijing Airport, China in June. The airport has three runways and a challenging wildlife environment to manage. The techniques for dealing with wildlife problems at the airport have involved many methods including sticky nets and bouncy grass. Students on the well-attended course gave 100% participation and showed willingness to learn, consider and debate the policies we have in the West. Following the enthusiastic response to our course, our trainer, Alex Moffat experienced Chinese hospitality at its best and he is looking forward to his next visits.
