Nashville International Airport welcomed a record 26.7 million passengers while advancing major infrastructure projects and expanding its route network.

Nashville International Airport (BNA) has recorded its busiest year on record, welcoming 26.7 million passengers during the 2026 fiscal year as the airport continued major infrastructure developments under its $3 billion New Horizon expansion programme...work continues on the complete redevelopment of Concourse A, which is scheduled to reopen in 2028 with 16 new gates, expanded passenger facilities, airline lounges, additional concessions and an outdoor terrace.

Construction also progressed on the airport’s Central Ramp Expansion project, which will increase aircraft parking capacity, improve aircraft movements and enhance de-icing operations. Elsewhere, work began on a new rental car facility and multi-storey parking garage capable of accommodating 4,700 rental vehicles and 3,000 public parking spaces.

The airport also launched a $40 million refurbishment of its central terminal core, designed to improve passenger flow through expanded entrances, additional escalators and increased lift capacity...
