Morocco’s airport sector maintained strong momentum in early 2026, driven by solid international demand and sustained growth across major hubs and regional airports

Morocco’s airport sector recorded 8,913,041 passengers by the end of March, marking an 11.15% increase compared to the same period last year, according to figures released by the National Airports Office (ONDA).

The performance reflects sustained growth in both international and national traffic, with international travel remaining the main driver of activity across the national network.

The country’s main hub, Casablanca’s Mohammed V Airport, handled 2,730,209 passengers, representing more than 30% of total air traffic and registering a 15.92% year-on-year increase.

Other airports also posted strong performances, including Beni Mellal increased by 31.35%, Errachidia by 20.81%, Nador El Aroui by 13.83%, Rabat-Sale by 13.51%, Tangier Ibn Batouta by 11.86%, Marrakech-Menara by 11.68%, and Agadir Al Massira Airport by 10.76%...
