Australian travellers will be slugged with higher airfares and parking fees, as consumers are asked to foot the bill for massive infrastructure projects.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission says Australia’s four largest airports – Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney – collectively invested $1.5bn on aeronautical facilities in 2024-25.
