Kansai Airports in Japan is set to deploy an autonomous patrolling robot, Secom Robot X2, at Terminal 2 of Kansai International Airport (KIX) and Kansai Airport Station.
This robot has been introduced under a partnership agreement with security company Secom.
Starting from 25 October, the surveillance robot will be seen navigating patrol routes autonomously with the help of a laser sensor to identify its location.
