Iveda Solutions has won a contract worth $1.5m from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport

Under this project, which is expected to commence this month, Iveda is planning to team up with Siemens for the development of a new SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system.

The software company will use the metasystem database of the airport, to enhance the alerting system for early awareness of glitches and lower functional limitations. For the international security regulations’ compliance, the project will involve the adoption of Siemen’s RTU-A8000 for initiating airport smart signal collection. The new system will extend the number of SQL data storage points for future report amalgamation of energy-saving data.
