Wilmington International Airport is pleased to announce the airport received $20 million in federal grants. The funds will support ILM’s capital improvements including the realignment of Airport Boulevard, a new terminal curb front, design of a terminal expansion to add new gates, as well as improvements for general aviation.  The grants were funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and the FAA’s Airport Improvement Program (AIP).  The funds support the following projects:

  • Roadway realignment & new terminal curb front: $18.1 million
  • Terminal design: $900,000
  • General Aviation Improvements: $1 million
