The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced results from its latest poll of recent travellers on 9 March 2021, revealing growing confidence in a return to air travel, frustration with current travel restrictions, and acceptance of a travel app to manage health credentials for travel.

Positive polling results from IATA, which has published its latest poll of recent travellers, with results showing a growing confidence in a return to regular air travel, frustration with current travel restrictions, and acceptance of the need for a travel app to manage health credentials. 57% of respondents expected to be traveling within two months of the pandemic being contained (improved from 49% in September 2020) and 72% want to travel to see family and friends as soon as possible (improved from 63% in September 2020).
