The airport system has received more than $126 million in federal funding for projects at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU).
At IAH, the funding will support upgrades to the Skyway train system, airfield drainage and Terminal D’s HVAC systems.
HOU will receive more than $62 million to rehabilitate Runway 13R-31L, one of the airport’s primary runways, with construction expected to begin in 2027...
