Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) today announced the official approval and financial close for the highly anticipated Ground Transportation Center (GTC) project designed to improve ground transportation services at Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO).

In a strategic partnership, Conrac Solutions, owned by leading sustainable infrastructure asset manager Meridiam, have been named the Public-Private Partnership (P3) for the $299 million project.

The airport believes the project and new collaboration with Conrac/Meridiam shows its commitment to enhancing the travel experience, strengthening sustainability initiatives and improving public safety for millions of passengers annually as part of the MoreRNO Infrastructure Program.

The new facility will be energy efficient and electric-vehicle-enabled in the future, contributing to a lower overall carbon footprint for the airport. It will also include covered pedestrian access from the terminal and increase parking capacity in the airport’s garage through relocation of rental car fleets.
