Through BIL funding, the FAA is supporting airports to complete energy efficiency, clean, and sustainable projects. The FAA has announced nearly $3 billion in BIL funding for more than three hundred airport terminal projects over the past three years. Airports can be awarded for addressing environmental concerns such as increasing energy efficiency, addressing resiliency, and reducing carbon footprints.
