The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) published a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to apply for approximately $269 million in FY 2023 Supplemental Discretionary Grants. This is a competitive grant program under the project grant authority for Airport Improvement Program (AIP). The FAA notes that the FY 2023 Supplemental Discretionary Grants will align with Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Strategic Framework FY 2022–2026. Applications in response to the NOFO are due May 2, 2024.
