The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced 19 airports across Alaska will receive a total of $85 million through Airport Improvement Program grants to help with safety, access and sustainability efforts. The funding is from the fifth round of fiscal year 2021 Airport Improvement Program grants.
