President Joe Biden has named Polly Trottenberg as acting FAA Administrator, with Katie Thomson as the deputy administrator.
Keith Washington will serve as acting chief of staff. A. Bradley Mims will lead the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization at the Department of Transportation.
Trottenberg, Thomson, and Mims bring extensive transportation experience to their roles.
The search for a permanent FAA administrator is underway.
