Five international architectural offices are participating in the tender for the design of the passenger terminal and railway station, together with the CPK transfer junction, the CPK company told PAP. It is about offices that have experience in investments at airports in, among others, Beijing, Dubai and Singapore.
Spokesman of the CPK company Konrad Majszyk, " There are two design offices from Great Britain: Foster + Partners and Zaha Hadid, the American studio Kohn Pedersen Fox, the Vidal y Asociados Estudio de Arquitectura studio from Spain, and Dar Al-Handasah and Perkins and Will, i.e. the American-Lebanese consortium "- he said. He indicated that these are "renowned, international design offices with experience in large airport investments in various parts of the world".
He explained that, as part of the competitive dialogue, four rounds of workshops have been held so far, attended by representatives of five companies and consortia interested in cooperation with CPK, i.e. Zaha Hadid, Foster + Partners, Kohn-Pedersen-Fox, Vidal and Dar Al-Handasah and Perkins and Will.
